Follow this blog if you want to actively watch the joys and pains of my writer's path unfold. I'm currently in the thick of a first draft and will frequently post my progress and concerns here.
When your creativity gauge runs empty I find it best to let go and indulge in the completed works of others. Thus, I like to post things that personally inspire me.
I'm very open and from time to time will share pieces of my own personal life. Disqus is engrained on this blog and I would be more than happy to respond to all feedback and comments
The goal is to face a blank page every day and fill it with words. The goal is to do it with fierce intent and wonder. The goal is knowing how to pick yourself back up on days the blank page wins.

I’m finding that writing something that I am in the mood for really does help. My main priority is finishing this fantasy piece I’ve been working on for awhile but I get touched out some days. So I’ve finally begun the teenage drama series I’ve always wanted to write. The mood I have to be in for either are on complete opposite sides of the spectrum so it’s a great match! <3 Needless to say, I’m now able to revisit my writing with a consistently fresh approach.
Writer’s block has become like a block to all things in life.

What Shakespeare really sounded like – linguists reconstruct a 400-year-old accent to remarkable results. For some Shakespearean reimaginings of a completely different nature, see Hamlet as a choose-your-own-adventure novel and if Shakespeare had written Star Wars.
The day is coming when everyone will review my novel writing submissions….and this will be me when it happens.Reblogged from nijimurashuuzou
